Collaboration is a key feature of the profession and continuing professional development is critical for success.  Teachers and schools that have an optimistic confidence in the qualities of their teaching community are more likely to build meaningful and high quality collaborative communities. Collaboration is not just talking together it is working together regularly and in real-time.  The collaborative environment can allow opportunities for schools and teachers to learn from each other and this works because it happens every day, almost in “realtime”.

Learning from each other, exchanging and sharing ideas and innovations and regularly engaging in conversations in clusters, partnerships and communities encourages a positive cycle of improvement and development.
